Well Greg and I started on the baby's room this last time he was home just to get some stuff done and situtated since we already had all the furniture. All we had to do was convert the bed down from a full to the baby bed and add the top to the changing table. My mom is making all the bedding, along with a curtain and basket liners and she is WAY ahead of the game, I told her I would like for her to have the bedskirt and sheet done by May 6th, as I am having a shower here at the house and didn't want the bed completely bare, but low and behold I went home this past weekend and she already had both completed for me. We are going with very neutral colors (simply because I think it is crazy to buy different bedding if you have the opposite sex the next time) so for the decor and bedding we decided on browns, golds, and turquoises (with varying shades of each), and the walls were already khaki. Here is what it looks like so far. (And no, we don't know what we are having yet as I am only 16 weeks, so it will still be a little while but we are doing what we can because like I said it won't matter either way and we had all the stuff, we have actually not bought anything for the room so far)
This is the view when you walk in....I know it is a bit crowded but we already had the recliner from our old living room set and personally feel it is crazy to spend extra money on a glider and ottoman when we have something that serves the purpose so that is how it will stay, crowded.....unless we find an old rocking chair up in someones attic or something....

This is a side of the room....The red sign probably won't stay there, it is just there for the moment has there was already a nail in the wall there....and all the stuff on the bookshelves is more then likely going away.....

This is the wall opposite the bed....being a teacher comes in handy, already have a few books, haha....

And the last wall is just the closet....nothing major...The quote says "Every child is a story yet to be told."
