Out Numbered....

Well it looks like Greg will officially be out numbered come July. At 18 1/2 weeks it has been confirmed Baby Hajovsky will be a GIRL! While we are both super excited, we would have been just as excited for a boy. So bring on the bows, ruffles and pink with the rest of girlie things! On another note, Baby Hajovsky does have a name we just prefer to keep everyone anxious until her arrival so we will not be sharing it!! As for the baby, she is doing well measuring right where she should be, weighs a little over 7 oz. As for me, everything is going well too, however, it doesn't appear I will be caring her to full term. I have had some subchorionic bleeding (where the uterus and placenta become detached) very small only 2 cm but none the less it is there. Today I asked if an incompetent cervix was heredity, as my mom was told she had that when she was pregnant and when I told the doctor that, he said that my likely hood of making it to 40 weeks was pretty slim and that will probably be delivering early (with the combination of my bleeding and my mom delivering early, as that is heredity evidently), we just aren't quite sure how early that is.....Hopefully everything will continue to go well. We can deal with these minor pot holes....

16 weeks plus.....

So today I went in for my 16 week check. Everything is still going good. My measurements are all right where they should be. I have gained a whole 2 pounds, which means I am still under my starting weight, as I lost about 8 pounds the first trimester as I was so sick. All my clothes still fit and as my doctor said today I am not showing hardly at all, although I beg to differ, as my stomach is DEFINITELY not flat like it used to be, there is a bulge there fore sure but no complaints from me. Itty Bitty's heart beat was in the 150's, this time Itty Bitty was asleep as there was no movement, last time I went the heart was measuring in the upper 160 when there was lots of activity, I guess next Friday we will find out what we are having for sure providing Itty Bitty decideds to let us see with the ultrasound. Not sure when I will post it as I have to tell my husband first as there is a chance he might not be here for the appointment, so we will see. After all I think I need to tell him before everyone else, right??

Baby Hajovsky's Room

Well Greg and I started on the baby's room this last time he was home just to get some stuff done and situtated since we already had all the furniture. All we had to do was convert the bed down from a full to the baby bed and add the top to the changing table. My mom is making all the bedding, along with a curtain and basket liners and she is WAY ahead of the game, I told her I would like for her to have the bedskirt and sheet done by May 6th, as I am having a shower here at the house and didn't want the bed completely bare, but low and behold I went home this past weekend and she already had both completed for me. We are going with very neutral colors (simply because I think it is crazy to buy different bedding if you have the opposite sex the next time) so for the decor and bedding we decided on browns, golds, and turquoises (with varying shades of each), and the walls were already khaki. Here is what it looks like so far. (And no, we don't know what we are having yet as I am only 16 weeks, so it will still be a little while but we are doing what we can because like I said it won't matter either way and we had all the stuff, we have actually not bought anything for the room so far)
This is the view when you walk in....I know it is a bit crowded but we already had the recliner from our old living room set and personally feel it is crazy to spend extra money on a glider and ottoman when we have something that serves the purpose so that is how it will stay, crowded.....unless we find an old rocking chair up in someones attic or something....

This is a side of the room....The red sign probably won't stay there, it is just there for the moment has there was already a nail in the wall there....and all the stuff on the bookshelves is more then likely going away.....

This is the wall opposite the bed....being a teacher comes in handy, already have a few books, haha....

And the last wall is just the closet....nothing major...The quote says "Every child is a story yet to be told."

We're Expanding......

Or should I say, that I am....it is official, we are expecting our first addition to our family. I sent out New Years cards to our immediate family and a few friends and when I say a few, I mean a few. I sent out a total of 30 cards, if that gives you any idea. Here is the card I sent out.....for those of you who didn't receive one....

Lets just say that it has been a long road but Greg and I are both looking forward to July. We are super excited and hope that everything continues to go well with this pregnancy.

Oops----I made a mistake!!

So, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am the idiot that created our New Years Cards when you get them. Greg had nothing to do with them except asking when I was sending them out; he just wanted to let everyone know that. Even though I proof read them MANY times, they still were sent out with two errors, instead of “our as,” it should read “ours has.” I just wanted to let everyone know that I am the guilty party!!
