Third Trimester Here We Go!

So I had my glucose test today and we will see how that goes. I should have the results by Monday as the lastest, hopefully we will have them by Thursday.

Little Missy has become quite strong lately. Last night was the first night when I was lifted my shirt above my belly you could see it moving. It was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I would see it move out in one spot and them a couple seconds later the other side would move, it was so fasinating to watch.

Here is a picture of me, this morning before I went to the doctor. Greg didn't go with me, I think last Friday was enough for him, although he said he was going to my next appointment with the specialist (I guess he doesn't really have any excuses to get out of it, as it is scheduled on his Friday off just like the last one). Everything is still going well with the baby and I was once again told to take it easy. I guess I am not the best pregnant person, I am TOO independent and hate having to ask people for help, as well as stand around and watch everyone else do stuff but I guess for the next couple of weeks that is what I will be doing....not much!!

Quick Update...More to Come Tuesday

We are officially 26 1/2 weeks today, WooHoo! I have started gaining weight, which my doctor was pleased with, depending on where you go from I am 9 pounds up from my starting weight or 17 up from my lowest weight (still about 11 pounds down from my post Korea weight), all in all not too bad. On the bright side my "fat" pants from before pregnancy still fit, which is kind of comforting. I guess since I still weigh less then I did when I first returned from Korea that is to be expected though.
We went and saw the specialist today I go for my glucose test on Tuesday. The specialist told us the girl is definitely thriving, she weighs about 2 pounds! She is already head down and has a nice strong heart (he made sure to tell us this about 4 times!). As for me I was told to take it easy, no more elliptical but I can still go walking as long as I take it EASY. She was very cooperative with him (he even said so) and we got several really good head shots so maybe that means she will be an easy going baby, fingers crossed! Right now I am just praying for whoever he saw before us, I was the first appointment but he had emergency before us and caused him to about an hour late (needless to say Greg was about to go NUTS, not a good start for his first appointment with me, this is the first time he has actually been home for my appointments to go with me during this whole process). The emergency was a girl 23 weeks pregnant with a ruptured membrane, not good (as she was going to have to be transported to a different hospital and not really sure what all else). I am hoping everything works out well for her because I could not even fathom what I would do if something happened to me at this point or that point in a pregnancy.

Speechless....

So this weekend we had a shower at the house for Lacey, Greg's cousin. Lauren and the kids came up and brought the baby a present, well not really I knew about it because I had asked Lauren to do it, needless to say it left me speechless. The frame turned out better then I ever imagined. (I would have posted pictures sooner but we haven't had internet since Sunday night, dumb Comcast)...

This week starts spring break for me, as I am done with classes for the week, so I have been working on some projects that I have wanted to play with for a while. The first ones are some bows. When Lauren was up she saw some of the bows I had made for little Miss and asked me to make some for Paisley when I had time, I figured I would get on the stick while I had a break from school so here are bows. I am not a bowanista and it takes me a long time to to make them probably 30-45 minutes per bow but they aren't bad....I think my favorite is the Halloween one!

Next on the agenda was some onesizes....I had bought these two but thought they were kind of plain and wanted to spice them up (yes for those of you who don't know her name does start with an "M" but that is all we are saying, actually her initals will be MRH)....The camo one is still a work in progress I need to get some pink rhinestones to put on the edges to finish it off but Hobby Lobby was out of them when I went, I will have to check back this week at some point.

Here are the other three I made.....I think they look adorable...I made one for Madilyn my niece but our bundle of joy has one as well but I can't post the picture of it since we aren't sharing the name.....Also the silver one with the "M" I am going to add a bow to but I am waiting on mom to come up and bring some of the ribbon that is at her house for it!

This is just a start to my week, still have lots I want to do and some school I want to get done just so I don't have to do it later on so we will see how much I actually get done....I have to say I like the arts and crafts projects ALOT more the school work, haha!
