Best of Buds

So last weekend we went to Ganando and crashed at Lauren and Chris' as usual. Mackenzie found her a new best bud. Everytime I turned around there he was giving her kisses or wanting to hold her, it was oh so sweet and just melted my heart. And we can't forget his sissy, although she is a bit small to hold Mackenzie rest assured she was never very far away from her. Paisley let everyone in church know how much she loves Mackenzie as she kept trying to come and visit with her but her Mommy (not this one) kept tell her NO, poor Paisley (don't worry she still got plenty of time with her at her house)!

First Bath

Mackenzie had her first bath last night and lets just say it could have been better. She did okay but man she better get used to them as I personally love baths. She was extremely fussy at first but once she was in there for a bit she did calm down some that is until we started putting water over her, that is when she let us know how she really felt!! She also like to move about and not lye in the middle of her bather but that is okay. I have to say for her first bath, she did really well.

2 Weeks Doctor Appointment

Well lets just say the girl is growing by leaps and bounds, she had her two week doctor appointment yesterday. Greg and I can definitely stop worrying about her not getting enough to eat as she is already up to 7lbs. 12 oz. (yep that is right, 1/2 pound more then her birth weight). She has also grown an inch, she is now 20 1/2 inches long with a head circumference of 12 1/2. I don't know what percentile she is in as I didn't ask, but rest assured she is doing well.

After the doctor we decided to run a few errands since we were already out and then had lunch with Daddy. It was a long day but nice to be out and about.
