Raising Her Right

Well the girl was all smiles when I put this outfit on her, just maybe she already knows where she wants to go to college.....Who knows, but my fingers are crossed she chooses here! (hopefully by then the football team will be MUCH better then they currently are)

We Have Found....

Our thumb! I always said I would NEVER let my child suck their thumb and boy am I eating those words now. Mackenzie as found and is now in love with it. She hates her paci without a shadow of a doubt, as soon as you stick in her mouth, she spits in right back out at you, her thumb on the other hand, she is in love with. Right now the only time she really sucks it is when she is hungry or tired, so I can't really complain, lets just hope it stays that way. Right now when she has it in her mouth at other times I simply pull out and tell her no (not like she really knows what that means but can't hurt to try to teach her, right?) Hopefully once she starts teething she will choose the paci over her thumb, right now my fingers, toes and every other part of my body is crossed that she does.....

Here are some pictures of her sleeping with her thumb...The burp cloth is under her head because she likes to spit up as well and it keeps the pillow from becoming soaked!!

Can You See Me??

We have the most adorable Camo outfit and I was trying my hardest to wait until opening day of deer season to wear but I finally gave in today, I could no longer resist. Don't you just think it is absolutely adorable?? It has lace and everything!!

Thank you to the amazing seamstress we have our my life, don't know what we would do without you, Mackenzie definetly has some mighty cute clothes thanks to you!!

Looky Looky

What a can hold a girls attention and make her smile like this.....

Her new best friend the television. Mackenzie has become fascinated by it. It gets her attention like no other and will hold it for quite sometime. It is amazing to see how much she has grown. Yesterday she started playing with the toys on her car seat and today while she was taking a nap I realize just how much she has grown in the 12 weeks we have been blessed by her presence.....

Vacation

So I am way behind on post, you would think since I am not working I would have tons of time; however, I don't. I guess I just don't manage it well or the fact I spend about three hours a day looking for employment doesn't help (which I might add is quite frustrating when you submit TONS applications and hear nothing back), but on to happy times.

For Labor Day weekend we went down to Port A with the rest of the Hajovsky Family (minus Matt, he had to finish up Fish Camp duties since he was a leader there). I must admit we had a blast! We soaked up some sun, spent lots of time at the beach and pool and even had some mighty good food. Mackenize loved the beach and would just sit as the waves rolled up on her, she didn't even mind the taste of the salt water that Daddy let her get by accident of course. As for the pool, I honestly can't tell you if Mackenzie liked it or not, it seemed like every time we were there she was sleeping. All in all it was a great weekend and hopefully we can do it again next year!! Here are some pictures.....
