My Little Muchkin

We attempted some pictures this weekend and let me just say it quite difficult to take pictures and try to get Missy to smile alone. We will have to try again when Daddy is home to help!

4 Month Check Up

Yesterday we had our 4 month check up and lets just say Mackenzie is growing like a weed. Her stats are as follows:

14.8 lbs (75% percentile)
25 7/8 inches (95% percentile)
16 inch head circumference (50%) percentile

I am guessing she doesn't follow in her cousins footsteps they were all average or below on height and weight and always above with the head circumference but not her! I can't believe how big she is getting.

The doctor told us we could start cereal and once she figures out the spoon we can start veggies (he said he would wait until she figures out the spoon first as veggies are expensive to learn with). She attempted last night here are some pictures:

She did much better tonight maybe it is was because we were home alone as Daddy went to go get things ready for deer season. This morning she was still looking at me like what are you doing, I want my food now and this is just a tease but tonight I started with her bottle gave her an ounce and then switched to the cereal and she ate all that I made, so I was glad. In case you were wondering she also got her ears pierced, she did great! While getting her ear pierced the doctor strapped her down to a board (I know, sounds worse then it was) so that way she didn't move while they pierced them, as soon as they unstrapped her she quite crying. I was so glad she handled it so well.

4 Years and 4 Months

Well my wonderful husband and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary yesterday. While we didn't really celebrate (he brought me flowers and we ate at subway, woohoo) we did have a good night. It is hard to believe we have been married for 4 years. We have been through ups and downs but I must say, I wouldn't change a thing. Everything we have been through has brought us closer together. This anniversary was different from the ones before (as we have taken a trip every year but this one) but it is a good different we have been blessed with a little one that we love and adore and are so thankful to have.

Our little one turned for months this week as she is now 16 weeks old!! Next week we go in for our 4 month check up and Greg and I are guessing she weighs somewhere around 15 pounds but we will see! I know she is getting shots and also a surprise so we will see how she does. I will post pictures after so everyone else can see what her surprise is.....Yesterday her surprise was a manicure by Mommy, Daddy was NOT at all happy when he arrived home and informed me that Mackenzie is not a doll but I must say she sure does look cute with her pink nails, haha!

Success

So alot has happened since our last post. We traveled to Dallas along with College Station and were able to visit with some great company. Mackenzie went to the doctor last Friday, as she has been really congested with the weather but we found out the little girl is already up to 13 1/2 pounds, other then that not much help. I don't know what I am going to do, she is growing so fast!!

On another note, she is rolling over from her back to her front now, but hasn't quite mastered the front to the back though. She also got her first BUBBLE bath and bath with company. I think they all had a blast!

Her are some pictures from the last two weeks.
