LOVE......

Although I am a tad slow and didn't capture the most precious moment EVER I attempted. You see Mackenzie and Daddy were sitting on the couch the other night and I turned to look at them and Mackenzie was just staring up at Greg in awe, it was precious so I go to get my camera and come back to take picture and this is what I get....Them both watching tv, go figure, I know it is just my luck!!

When Daddy is Gone....

It seems like Greg has been traveling quite a bit lately. He was gone for two days each of the past two weeks and will probably be gone again this coming week for a night or two, needless to say when Daddy is gone this is how Mommy keeps Mackenzie content so I can take my baths....

Crusin In Style

Last week when we were getting ready to go down to Ganado, someone was one fussy little girl. I took her outside and set her in her push car and needless to say, she immediately stopped. She just sat in her car and looked out at the road, so right before we left I pushed her to take some mail down to the box. Here is our princess just as content as can be, you would never guess she was screaming her head off 10 minutes before......

Poor Mackenzie.....

We got no sleep last night the little was running at 101.7 fever which made for a LONG night for Mommy and Mackenzie. We went to the doctor today and he said looks like she has another ear infection (or the same one that she had two weeks ago just didn't completely get killed with the anitbotics). Hopefully with the new meds our little princess will be back to her bubbly self soon. Don't get wrong I love all the snuggles since all she wants is to be held, but I also like to stay busy and it is hard to carry her around and work on stuff around the house!!

New Year, New Things

Well 2011 has come and we are super exited to see what this years holds for instore for us. 2010 was a great year don't get me wrong it brought with it our first baby and for that we are super blessed. It also brought me my husband, who is home now a majority of the time and not rotating which is a true blessing especially with a little one. 2010 brought us another year together, another year of growing closer and our first year as a family. Hopefully 2011 will bring just as much joy and love as 2010 did....One thing we know of 2011 is that....

Greg's project should be up at the end of this year, which means he will move on to a different job within Chevron, maybe a new location whether it be state or country or maybe no move at all, only time will tell. Whatever is, Mackenzie and I will be there to support and help with whatever it shall be.

So here is to a new year with new challenges...My goal is to have a better attitude and not to take things so personally or let certain things get to me (hopefully I can stick to it, we will keep our fingers crossed)!

Christmas Recap

Christmas time was super busy, especially with our families living so close together trying to make ever Christmas, but we did it and were glad to come home to relax. I don't know who said that holidays were relaxing but for me they are far from it. We were constantly going and moving and with a little one added to the mix this year I must say it is exhausting but here are some pictures from our First Christmas as a family.....

Updates to come soon I promise!!! Between a sick little girl and Mommy and along with Daddy being gone for work, equals no time for the computer or blogging! But I did get some good snuggles Monday night as Mackenzie would only sleep on us, as soon as we set her on the floor or in her bed, she would wake up, so I slept with her in her "BIG" girl bed that we have been working on and every once and awhile she would move, put her hand on me and the fall back asleep. I guess she just needed to know someone was there for her, took her in on Tuesday and she had an ear infection, but I sure did enjoy those cuddles but glad she is back in her own bed!!
