It is time to say GOODBYE.....

to our favorite outfit....Well at least Mommy's. We have it on today but I think after this it will go into our out grown clothes box, maybe once Nana gets done with our quilt, she can whip up another top, and Mommy can always make the pants no problem. We wore last summer with some cutie patootie bloomers, and this winter with a turtleneck underneath, but today it is kind of tight under the arms so GOODBYE to our favorite outfit....

What's New??

Around our house, not much except this........








You know the red mat in the bottom of the tub. Mackenzie LOVES and I mean LOVES baths she can play for hours if you would let her. The problem was her legs would get to going faster then the rest of her could keep and she would always fall back which meant giving her baths were a pain as you had to keep your hand behind her, well thank you no slip grip mat you have solved that problem! Now we just have to deal with occasional nose dives forward that general result in a smile, laugh and grin!

My little girl, that isn't so little, any more is becoming quite the brave soul. She has started pulling up on almost everything now that she can, our chairs and coffee table are a bit high for her but everything else is fair game. However, here today she has already fallen about 8 times as she stands up turns around, lets go of whatever she is holding on to and tries to takes off, it is quite funny as all she does a face fall forward and just looks up with a look of "what happened."

I know some of you don't believe me but even Greg said last night that she had grown alot lately. We were in the car and turned back to look at her and her car seat no longer swallows her and she just looks bigger in generally, I promise those of you that haven't seen her in a while she as really grown!

Starting tomorrow Mackenzie and I will get lots of girl time, not that I mind but we sure will miss our Daddy terribly, as he will be gone until Monday. Don't worry we have a full weekend planned including a special little dudes big 4th birthday.

Oh So SAD.....

The weekend flew by, and I must say it was bittersweet. Not for any reason in particular but simply for the fact I feel like my little girls growth quadrupled, it is becoming perfectly clear she is no longer a baby which makes me ever so sad.

Mackenzie went from army crawling to crawling on all fours, pulling up to a standing position, walking around her little musical table and from 7 to 8 (yes that is right EIGHT) teeth. I mean how much can one little person grow in a weekend, yes she accomplished all of this on Saturday and Sunday, CRAZY, I know!

I must say Saturday night Mackenzie melted my heart. We ate supper and she started getting fussy so I fed her food and gave her bottle and stuck her in bed. She immediately grabbed her blanket and started sucking her thumb, her normal signs she is going to sleep, well low and behold I go to check on her a little bit later; cut the hallway light on so I can see her and what do I find, Miss Priss sitting on her knees facing the wall but as soon as I cut the light on she turned her head and shot me the cutest smile ever, I can honestly say that was the sweetest moment ever!
