I could have gone without knowing.....

I had another doctors appointment today. Everything looked good. The little guys heartbeat was 151 and I am measuring right were I should be. She said I have gained 5 pounds (which is less then ideal but a pound more then I had gained with Mackenzie at this point so she isn't too worried about yet) we will just keep watching it.

On another note I was asking her about the induction and such, and I found out the name of the "disorder" with my blood, it is called anitphospholipid antibody disorder. It is the part that came after that I could of gone without knowing. It turns out the reason they induce me a week early is because after 39 weeks of pregnancy, the chance of stillbirths increases quite a bit. Just what I wanted to hear (not really) just one more thing to worry about for the next 18 weeks. For now I am thankful for the kicking, and punching that is happening and just continue to hope that the next 4 1/2 months go by without a hitch and we have a perfectly healthy, normally little boy come December! I must say that this pregnancy has been alot less eventful then Mackenzies, which I am truly thankful we have not had one emergency room visit. I did have some bleeding but that is because my placenta is only 1 centimeter away from my cervix which is okay at this point and a positive about that is that it is not completely over the cervix. Now we just have to hope that it will shift up. Other then that no news from here. We have busy next couple of weekends planned and ALOT of Dallas area time (I think I am going to be sick of drive by the time we are all said and done!!) Canton, birthday parties, wedding decorating and Great Wolf watch out, we are ready to conquere it ALL!

Success???

It suddenly hit me the other day that I am half way through my pregnancy and we have not yet started on trying to adjust Mackenzie. She has alot of them coming, number 1 being, where she sleeps. So I got the bright ideas to convert her baby bed to a toddler bed since once her little brother arrives she will sleeping in a regular bed. I figured we would take baby steps. Sunday morning the big side railing came down the half rail went up.....Take a look.....Nap time, nope problem....

Looks like success right?? Well not so much for bed time. We put her in there with her milk and blanket like usual and about 5 minutes later (sometimes not even) we would see her bright, bubbly, bouncy self coming right into the living room, just a smiling. After several times of trying this, I finally just rig her bed. I know I will need to sit in there with her and everytime she tries to get out, tell her no but yesterday I just didn't have the energy. So this it was I did and it worked. I am sure it won't for long but for last night it did!

Saturday.....

This is what we wore shopping to spend the day with Nana....and we even had lunch with Uncle Brian.....

Can you guess

Where we have been hanging out lately??

Isn't she just the cutest little girl ever???

Half Way There....

Well I am half way through my pregnancy and figured it was about time I updated everyone. Greg and I went to the specialist last Friday, and needless to say that will be the last appointment he goes with me to, EVER! I not only had a restless 1 year old, I had an royal grump of a husband with me. We had to wait an hour to see the doctor which I am used to and doesn't really bother me anymore but you would have thought the world was coming to an end the way the hubs was acting. Once we finally got to see the doctor it was confirmed that baby #2 will be a boy, and no he doesn't have a name as Greg and I honestly have really had time to discuss names with all the traveling he is doing. He is gone again for the next three days and then starting next week he will be gone for a 10 day period if not longer, but back to the little one. He is measuring three days ahead of my original due date which the doctor said is really good, as anti body I have in my blood that caused my miscarriages could actually keep babies from growing as big as they should so the fact he is measuring ahead is fantastic. He weighed 11 oz and the doctor said he thinks by the time I deliever he will weigh about 7 lbs 12 oz or so but will be able to give a better estimate next time (8 weeks). Really the only other things that were said was to watch what I am doing, has I have a low placenta again, and that they will induce me a week early again, as they did with Mackenzie. Not sure if the week early is from the projected due date or by what he is measuring as that determines if we will have November or a December baby. I figured there was still time and either way it doesn't really matter as long as he is healthy!

Our Helper.....

Saturday night Greg came back from Ganado and brought some stones from the country club so we put them around the trees Sunday after church. Mackenzie was a great help! She wore her sunglasses for a record amount of time without taking them off. She kept them on almost the whole time we were outside for a good 30 minutes plus. I must say she looked mighty cute, but I will let you judge that for yourself!!!

All SMILES.....

Camo Cutie....

I just love this little girl in camo, I think it goes well with her skin tone. Actually everything goes well with her skin, thankfully she has her Daddy's dark skin, I am very jealous of it!!

Looky Looky....

What I came home to....

And let me just say I couldn't have been more excited about it. I wanted this stroller so I could keep in my car when #2 arrives. It is amazing if you pop the wheels out (which is SUPER easy) it fold pretty flat (like 4 inches or less) I kid you not! There is nothing better then coming home to presents!! Thank you!!

Eventually Greg and I would like to get this one too (it is the same brand Baby Jogger City, but it is the elite verison which has the larger wheels for jogging).

These Days....

Mackenzie is constantly walking around with something in her hands, this particular morning it was a toothbrush, most morning it is her remote (until she tosses in the bath tub) or my Special K shake I normally drink.

We were ROBBED!!

Not really but if you would have walked in you would have thought so thanks to one little girl! I think she pulled something out of every drawer and the clean clothes off of the top of the dresser that she could reach.

For those of you who don't know.....

Yes, that is right, Mackenzie will be a big sister come December!

As of right now it looks to be a boy, which means Mackenzie doesn't have to share her clothes!! But if you have any clothes that you would like to share with the little one we will gladly take and use them! :)

12 Month Check Up

We had our 12 month check up today, and I must say that little Miss did well! She recieved 4 shots and took them like a champ. She only cried for maybe 15 seconds after the nurse finished!!

Mackenzie Stats:

Height 31 inches (94%)
Weight 21.13 lbs (59%)

Needless to say she is long!

Here are some pictures from before the visit....

Unpacking.....

Has become quite the chore lately here is why......

While I am unpacking this is what Mackenzie does.....

It starts out like this.....

Yes, she pulls the drawer out herself, along with the clothes in it!

Then she start this....

That was after she figured out the suitcase opened....

Lastly we moved to unpacking Mackenzie and what did she do in there....

This....

And she did countless nose dives off of it but would get right back on the chair and smile, I figure that eventually she will figure out to get down feet first!!

Happy 4th of July......

Greg and Mackenzie ready for church....Thanks Miss Shannon for the bows, they made our outfit complete!
