Halloween....

Well it is 5:00 Halloween afternoon and my little bit is sleeping. We haven't even started handing out candy (I am not too sure we are going to go trick or treating since we are home alone again, but then again we might go with the neighbors, we will see). I guess her Daddy wore her out this weekend. At least she should be in a great mood when she wakes up, but I guess we will see on that one too. As most of you know I am not a big Halloween person, when it comes to decorating or going all out, so when Aunt Sylvia asked me to put Mackenzie in a pumpkin costume she made and all her grandkids wore and to take a picture and send it to her, it was perfect. I didn't have to get creative when it came to the costume nor did I have spend an insane amount of money for a costume, plus I must say she made a mighty cute pumpkin! Can you believe this costume is over 20 years old???

Working Order.....

Mackenzie is always messing with this thing for some reason and here lately she has wanted to get in it, sometimes trying to crawl in it by herself. Needless to say I can see some major fit throwing and fighting when baby brother arrives and he is in it along with the exersaucer that we will bring down out of the attic......I like to think she is just making sure it works so he can use it comes time too!!

Daddy Was Home.....

For longer then expected, woohoo! Greg flew in Friday afternoon and was supposed fly back out Sunday, but actually got delayed until today around lunch. Let me just say one little girl was in HEAVEN, yes that is right she loved on her Daddy every chance she got and although they weekend wasn't perfect it was nice to be able to spend time together as a family, just the three of us not going anywhere. Daddy's truck got a minor ouchy do to getting a new propane bottle, and the ribs we got the propane for a complete failure, but all in all it was a great weekend. If everything goes as planned, he should be back Thursday.....our finger our crossed especially since next weekend is opening hunting for deer season for him. I know he would hate to miss it!

Fall Harvest Party.....

Mackenzie had her Fall Party at school today. They don't do Halloween, it is just a Fall Party, so of course we had to dress to match. Let me just said it is getting hard to take pictures of this kid. She is non too cooperative because she generally comes running to get the camera from me....so between that and her non-smiling mood we didn't get many good shots. I think she just misses her Daddy and is ready for him to be home. He has been gone since LAST Monday!

Little Toot......

So I made this top to with some ruffle pants, needless to they are both big and will fit next year. When you put the two together the outfit swallowed her so I came up with this and I must say she looked MIGHTY cute. Thanks Nana for the doing the buttons and buttons holes!! Maybe one day I will learn/attempt them but she is just so much better at them!!

I don't know about her......

Mackenzie is always full of surprises. I am so thankful that I am able to be at home with her and yes sometimes she drives me nuts but at the same time she can always make me smile and laugh. Yesterday while I was unloading the dishwasher Mackenzie was off doing her own thing like usual, well once I was finished I went to see what she was actually getting into and I guess this was her way of telling me that she missed our morning walk that we didn't go on. (this is her doll stroller and let's just say her exit from the stroller wasn't near as graceful as her entrance, as we have a nice scrape on our nose from when it fell when we were getting out, we also got our first nose bleed too!)

32 Weeks and 15 Months

Well this post is a little bit late as I am now 33 weeks, and well Mackenzie is working on 16 months but figured I would at least give you the update. I went to the doctor and everything is looking good. Little dude's heartbeat was 136, and I was measuring right were I should be and have gained a total of 13 lbs. We go back to the specialist this Thursday and will find out just how big little mister is and then go back to my regular doctor on Tuesday so hopefully by then we will have a date set for induction if he doesn't come on his own. On a side note, I think we are going to have one strong little boy, as of lately he has been kicking the crap out of me. I told Greg this morning he is working on kicking himself out of my tummy it hurts so bad. I swear if he were already out of me and here, and kicking like he has been I would be totally bruised. I got my flu shot this last time at the doctors office, so he will be covered for 6 months after he is born and I also registered at the hospital as I had to switch to the one by the mall.

As for Mackenzie, she is not slowing down goes non-stop! She was 32 1/2 inches long and weighed 23 lbs 5 oz, which put her in the 95% and 55%. Her height % is holding study but her weight is decreasing, which is not at ALL suprising I am telling you the girl NEVER sits still unless she doesn't feel good. The more tired she gets the more she goes as she knows if she sits still long enough she might just crash.

This weekend was a nice break for me. I was kid free and husband free. Nana and Pops kept Mackenzie so Greg and I could go out and celebrate our 5 year anniversary on Friday, yes we have been married for 5 whole years, can you believe it??? We went to Carraba's to eat and then to Walmart and Sam's (how romantic, I know). Thanks Uncle Brian for picking her up and taking her down there with you, hope you had fun at your 15 year high school reunion, man your old! Saturday morning Greg left to go disk and work on pastures as he will be gone most of the next two weeks with work. That meant me home alone, yes ALL by myself! I must say it was actually kind of weird. The house was so quiet! I did get some stuff accomplished though. Mackenzie's closet is clean along with her room and so is little brother's along with everything washed and put away ready for his big debute, his hospital stuff is even packed. I even dusted some of the blinds in the house, and ran errands. It sure is alot easier to run errands without a companion, not that I don't LOVE my companion but it was alot easier before she decided she had to grab at everything and wants to walk or run wherever she wants!

After Rain...

Comes the fun times.....This weekend we headed to Ganado on late Friday, to take Mackenzie to the fair and let me just say she had a blast! She petted some goats, attempted to pet the bunnies (they weren't too cooperative) and did LOTS of running around. We walked through the carvinal and she loved the lights, she kept starring at them in awe... On Saturday, we had fun-filled busy day, as started the day with Callen's soccer day and finished with Grandpa Pavlik's birthday. Mackenzie got alot of play time and I must say I think she loved every minute, she went NON-stop all day. We ended the weekend by hanging out at Nannie and Popo's (we were supposed to Moulton to a festival they have every year but, it got rained out) so we enjoyed visiting with some cousins we don't get to see very often. Can't you tell these girls had a blast! The boys were on a photo shoot for Nannie and Popo's website so it was a girl only event! Gotta love rain, I think they played in every single water puddle! Paisley was the leader but Mackenzie and Madi weren't too far behind!
