Daddy did good...

This weekend we had my family over to celebrate Papa Eddie's and Nana birthdays. Greg took Mackenzie to church alone and dressed her by himself while I prepared some of the food. I must say it has taken 2 years but I was beyond impressed with what he put her in.....Take a look for yourself..

Heck, he even did her hair. How could I complain?? Good Job, Daddy!

A Few Changes...

Since the last post, we have had many changes in the Hajovsky household.

We went to the Zoo, which one little girl LOVED; we definitely have to go back. It was neat watching Mackenzie and listening to her tell us the animals and what sounds they make.

The pools in the neighborhood have opened and we spend at least one day on the weekend there, sometimes we even go during the week, when a little ask “go swimming in the water,” she would spend everyday there I think, if we would let her.

I started working and while I enjoy it, I miss being at home with the little ones. I miss having dinner pretty much ready when Greg got home so once we went running it was done and we were eating at a decent time (I hate eating at 7 PM or later). Although the nice thing about me working is that he definitely helps out a lot more now! I don’t think he really knew what I all did before, but he sure does now. The kids are in daycare and let me just say that I am seriously working for a negative income by the time I write that check every month, but I know that they love the interaction with the other kids and have learned so much being there. Braxton is already crawling has been for at least a month and half. He is also pulling up and trying to move around, I think he will be walking well before he is a year old. He has TWO teeth, yes two! Mackenzie vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds and has become good at letting you know what she wants and doesn’t. On the down side, she has learned what “mine” means and lets just say that is all we hear at night when Braxton try to take anything.

We still enjoy are daily runs, weather permitting of course. Mackenzie will generally ask to go for a ride in stroller or tell us she wants to go running, I think she really does it to get her daily Popsicle but hey works, right?

A little girl also turned two, not too long ago. She had great party and loved her zebra cake; she ate on it for three days at the party all she wanted was the zebra stripes but eventually actually ate the cake (while she is a junk food junkie, cake is one thing I don’t make so this was probably the first time she had actually had it to remember it)! For her big day, Daddy and I introduced her to Mr. Gatti’s but I must say I think Daddy enjoyed it more. He hit 1000 tickets on one game (which I am sure he couldn’t do again to save his life) but we were able to get princess walkie talkies with it!
