Two Weeks Away....

And counting.....That is right it has been almost two weeks since we last saw Daddy. With some minor hiccups, he finally made it out to the platform last night. We are hoping all goes smooth from here on out as he is the one in charge! While we miss him dearly, I have gotten one major thing accomplished.....

Yes that is right, she has been sleeping in her big girl bed since LAST Sunday and does great. She generally goes to bed sometime around 7:30 and sleeps until about 7 in the morning, lets just say this Mommy can't complain.

While Daddy has been gone our weekends have been jammed packe, the first weekend we went to Dallas for Kayden's 6th birthday, and this past weekend I went back to Dallas to help Nannie decorate for a friend of Aunt Kim's Wedding, needless to I am super tired making the 4+ hour drive and eating out and quite honestly the little guy doesn't handle the eating out very well either, I guess it is just the difference in the foods, as for the most part I try to eat VERY healthy with little grease and butter.

Nana and Pops had Mackenzie while I went with Nannie this past weekend and I think she had a blast, playing in her water table and going to the bay to spend time with Uncle Brian and his friends. I have to give them credit too, as they tried to keep her on routine that I have somewhat established with her (I think they wore out my poor little girl too, as all she did yesterday afternoon was sleep!). While I was glad for time away, I sure was glad to get back to her too, I missed my little bit. I think she grew in the three days while I was away too! I took some pictures to send to Greg and she just looks so big and her piggie tails so long....see below...







That is what has been going on in our world, I will try to load some pictures that Nana took this weekend from Mackenzie playing the water table but for now this will have to do....as you can tell we are keeping ourselves busy until Daddy returns (hopefully soon!)
