Someone turned two.....

Can you believe that our little guy is two already? These past two years have flown by! I don't remember what life was like without him. Although he can be quite stubborn, hard-headed and more like his Daddy then I care to admit, he can also be the sweetest, most caring and lovable little guy I know. I love in the morning how he just wants to sit on my lap and cuddle and in the evening how he sits right by his Daddy's side both of them with their cup of cereal and iPads in hand. It melts my heart how every time he gets a snack or milk or anything, he makes sure to tell us that Sissy needs one too! He has a love for tractors that I will never understand. He can never get enough Brown Bear, Brown Bear or Polar Bear, Polar Bear (I think maybe I should invest in more Eric Carle books) those are the first two books he brings to be read to him! Bring him from outside is like pulling teeth, I think he would live outside if he could. Just pitch him a tent and he would be good to go. He misses his gator and Nannie, Papa and Chris's tractors like crazy. He always tells us "me, me, me." He is ready to go on an airplane again (which we will be doing next week), and he is super excited about it! He loves to help cook! Daddy's basketball has become his favorite inside toy, the tennis racket and baseball bat are a close second (luckily no stray balls have hit our Christmas tree, or this Mommy would not be to happy).

He started Playschool Monday. He has done well, today was the first day he cried. He cried for about 10 minutes after I dropped him off and then he was good to go. He never wants to leave when I go to pick him up, I am sure it is because they are outside playing when I do (or I am telling myself that to make me feel better). Tomorrow is his Christmas party, Santa is going to come visit. It will be interesting to see how he does! Sister's party is next Wednesday and they we leave for Thailand on Thursday morning bright and early for 9 days. Needless to say I am sure the next couple of weeks will fly by! We officially booked a trip to come back to the states for a few days in February. We will arrive on the 7th and fly out on the 22, and then will be back in the summer. The kids and I will stay most of July and some of August. Mackenzie has school until 27th so will fly out sometime after that when Daddy can fly with us so I only have the kids alone coming back in August on the plane!

I must say it is very nice having them both in school even if his is only for half a day. I go exercise after I drop him off. I have been running on the treadmill and riding the bike. Then I come home and take a shower and clean up around the house. I just feel like I get so much accomplished. I have been going through their toys getting rid of the things that are broken, pulling the clothes that are too small to bring back with us February for Baby Taylor and for Sawyer (Aunt Jo, granddaughter) and I must say it is making a difference. I don't feel like I am bombard with a ton junk for the first time since our shipments arrived.

Here are a few pictures from Braxton on his birthday!
