Hiking

We took the kids on a hike this weekend. They loved it. My body is telling me today that it didn't, so is Greg's as well. Greg said his back is killing him but when you look at the pictures and see how he carried him, it is his own fault. My calves hurt but I am sure the hills and extra 35 pounds I was carrying helped in that. All in all it was a great day and the kids loved it so that is all that matters, right? We are hoping once our slings arrive it will be a bit easier but we will see. I had Mackenzie in the Moby wrap which wasn't bad just a pain when she did want to walk and then get back up.

Braxton's stitches come out tomorrow, hopefully that goes well. His lip looks really good and seems to have healed nicely. I am making Greg go with me to take him to get them out, no free pass for him!!

Mackenzie started her first full day of school today. Until now they had been getting out at 12, today she will go until 2:50. She was so excited about taking a lunch box to school, and that she was getting french fries and winney for lunch. It will be interesting to see how she liked it when she gets home.

We are staying pretty busy around here. Greg is busy at work, having a hard time adjusting to apartment life (he misses his cows, his ability to piddle outside) that kind of stuff. He never has been one to just sit around and do nothing. He has off Wednesday and Friday of this week. Wednesday is a National holiday, Friday is just a DSME holiday and I think we are going to take the kids to the aquarium in Busan maybe stay the night and go to the open market Saturday just to get out but we will see how that goes. I will look at hotels this afternoon and see what I can find for us! I am busy cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping. I feel like that is all I do. I am sure it doesn't help that I cook lunch everyday and supper almost everyday. It seems like no matter how much I cook, we very rarely have leftovers!

Anyway, here are some pictures from the hike!
