Three Weeks in Korea Means.....

Three stitches for Braxton, and our first trip to the Hospital. Yes that is right our son received his first set (which I am sure will be many in his lifetime) of stitches. While I would love to give you all an elaborate story of him misbehaving or acting silly, I can't. All that happened is that he was walking (yes that is correct, walking, not even running) towards the house after we picked up Mackenzie from school and fell on the asphalt. I must say that I was quite honestly horrified when I picked him up as his entire bottom half of his face was covered and I mean covered in blood. I as soon as I picked him up I immediately called Greg (who was at an audit) and asked where he was as I didn't know what town or anything. Luckily it was in Goyheon, and he was done, heading to lunch and then was going back to the office. Needless to say he skipped lunch and headed home. The kids and I walked back up the three hills to the house (as quickly as I could make my daughter) and washed it off. This made me feel a ton better, Braxton had a small cut, it was only 1/2 in long (if that) right by his lip, and no loose teeth or anything major, just a minor scrape on his nose and a chipped tooth. Once Greg got home we figured we would take him to the hospital and not just the clinic we went to last time we were sick. While we didn't think it was too bad being it started on the very top of the lip and went up felt it was best since we want it to heal with as little scaring as possible. So three stitches, 1 hour 30 minutes later (remind you that is without an appointment) and $200 later, we were on our way back home. I must say I even drove (that is more driving then I did the entire last 1 1/2 year we were here, as I kid you not I did not drive after we had our driving course). Greg went back to work and since his office was on the way, I dropped him off and drove the kids home all by myself!! We went back to the doctor today and will for the next three for them them clean it, which is kind of crazy and I think just a way for them to make more money as that was $38 for all of 1 minute of seeing and treating us. The stitches should come out next Tuesday. Here are a couple pictures of his stitches....
